Design a set with tighter spaces similar to a military boat.
Integrate the robot’s chest X logo into the room’s design as a door.
I designed four identical octagons with angled walls and interconnecting hallways leading to what would be the arms of the robot.
My design maintained interesting views from any position within the set; utilizing a matching wall concept saved time for our Construction crew. The design and final build was one of two featured sets for the show. The other was the head of the robot, MechX4.
